Canadian esports holding firm Fanatic Gaming has named Nick Brien as its new Chief Govt Officer.
In his position, Brien will lead the corporate’s international operations which embrace possession of esports organisation Luminosity Gaming and Name of Responsibility League franchise Seattle Surge.
Previous to becoming a member of Fanatic Gaming, Brien was the CEO of promoting expertise agency Amobee and the Americas CEO of selling community firm Dentsu. Dentsu serves a number of multinational corporations together with Microsoft, Intel, and American Categorical.
Adrian Montgomery, who has served as CEO since 2019, will transfer to Chair the Board of Administrators.
The appointment of Brien as CEO comes after calls from each Fanatic Gaming staff and shareholders requesting the resignation of now-former CEO Adrian Montgomery. In July 2022, Fanatic employees members — reportedly VP-level executives — penned a letter requesting Montgomery’s resignation.
With over three many years of selling expertise, Brien goals to create a spread of recent options that promote the expansion of Fanatic Gaming.
