The second match of the day is the one between G2 eSports and Fnatic. Fnatic is a very popular eSports team in Europe but didn’t have a great season last year in Valorant. They lost the final for the 5th place in the Valorant Champions against Kru eSports. The biggest success they had in 2021 was winning the VCT Europe Stage 2 Challenger 2 against Team Liquid.
G2 eSports didn’t finish the year strong but had a terrific summer. G2 won 6 tournaments from July to September. Most of all were B-Tier tournament but still winning is never easy. They end the season losing the final for the 3rd sport in the VCT 2021 Stage 3 Master Berlin against Gambit.
